The data we rely on
Official, verifiable sources only: the gold price from the LBMA (London Bullion Market Association); inflation and rates from the European Central Bank and Eurostat; central-bank demand from the World Gold Council. Plus our own live data on the price gap between dealers — something you can verify right now on the home page.
Every figure can be checked. If a source doesn't confirm something, we don't write it.
Why it matters to a physical gold owner
Inflation gradually erodes the purchasing power of money. Physical gold is one of the ways people have preserved value for centuries. One of the ways — not the only one, and not a cure-all.
