Privacy Policy — Gold Intelligence

Who we are

Gold Intelligence (the “Service”) is operated by the operator of Gold Intelligence, a sole trader based in Tallinn, Estonia. The operator is the data controller for the personal data described here.

What data we collect

From Telegram, when you start the bot: your Telegram user id and the profile fields Telegram shares (username, first/last name, language code).

Data you enter in the bot: your chosen language, budget/wallet amount, and the gold purchases and portfolio you record.

Usage data: in-product events such as starts, price and dealer views, tracked buy clicks and funnel steps, used to operate and improve the Service.

On the website: an anonymous visitor id (cookie) and language preference; advertising parameters (UTM tags, ad click ids); and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing cookies.

Payment data: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive the payment status, plan and a Stripe customer/subscription id. We never see or store full card numbers.

Why we use it and our legal basis

Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): running the assistant, providing your subscription and processing payments.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): product analytics, security, fraud prevention and improving the Service.

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): non-essential analytics and marketing cookies and ad measurement. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner.

Cookies and tracking

The website uses strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. Full details and how to change your choice are in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share data with

We use trusted processors: Telegram (the messaging platform the bot runs on), Stripe (payments), Railway (EU-region hosting).

With your consent only: Meta (advertising and conversion measurement), Google (advertising measurement), Yandex Metrika (website analytics).

We may use Anthropic (Claude) for internal, owner-side operational analysis; no user personal data is sent to the model as part of running the bot (the assistant is rule-based at runtime).

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Meta, Google, Anthropic) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Account and portfolio data are kept while your account exists. Analytics events are kept for up to 24 months. On a deletion request we erase your account data and cancel any active subscription.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

How to exercise your rights / deletion

Email goldintelligencebot@gmail.com. On request we will erase your account data and cancel any active subscription. We may need to confirm your identity (e.g. your Telegram user id) before acting.

Security

Data is stored on a managed EU-region host with restricted access. We do not store card numbers; payment card data is handled solely by Stripe.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes re-prompt cookie consent and are reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
